I have been DYING to share these photos from Ria and Josh’s rooftop sunset engagement! Ria has been a friend of mine in the industry for AGES! I was SO excited to shoot alongside her and her boo. When I first started chatting with Ria, I was SUPER invested in her vision! These two are such a sweet, laid back couple, who radiate some serious badass energy. An editorial, city inspired shoot was PERFECT for them! I was so excited about the location in Downtown LA, the sunset was so dreamy, and these photos turned out even better than I imagined!
As a California photographer, I take TONS of photos across the hundreds of beaches and coastlines in SoCal. More often than not, my couples are eager to take advantage of the weather, and head down to the water for their photos. When Ria and Josh decided on a more urban, city inspired location, I was PUMPED! We found ourselves perched on a rooftop at sunset, surrounded by incredible views of the city. Ria and Josh are so effortlessly cool, and this location was literally made for them.
Ria and Josh coordinated their outfits SO FREAKING WELL. I was dead. Their love is magnetic, and the energy was unbeatable. Ria and Josh share an electric love, and I’m obsessed with how that love came to life during this shoot. We were SUPER lucky to catch a PERFECT sunset. Golden hour is always fun, but it’s ten times better when you find yourself watching from a rooftop. I left this shoot in such an amazing mood, and I definitely felt more inspired than ever. Ria and Josh are the best, and I am so excited to be sharing all of these photos with you!
