I am so excited to be showing off these incredible photos from Lizzy and Nick’s wedding day at The Homestead in Oak Glen, California! As soon as I met these two, I loved them! I had been counting down the days to their wedding FOREVER, and their wedding day was a dream!
As a California native, there’s nothing I love more than getting outside and soaking up the sunshine. Lizzy and Nick got married in September, and it was a PERFECT day! The Homestead in Oak Glen was the perfect venue for their romantic, rustic wedding day. I had shot at this venue several times before, and every single time I shoot there, it takes my breath away!

Lizzy and Nick’s Incredible Wedding Day!
Lizzy spent her morning surrounded by her closest friends. They all wore the cutest matching floral robes, and I was seriously in love with these girls! Every single one of them was so sweet and laid back, and made my job feel SO effortless. Lizzy was an absolutely stunning bride, and wore a form fitting, mermaid style lace beaded gown. Nick spent his morning in one of The Homesteads massive groom suites, and he was feeling all sorts of butterflies.
One of the sweetest parts of the day was when Lizzy shared a first look with her family. Lizzy and Nick wanted to keep things traditional, and wait until the ceremony to see each other. I love that Lizzy was still able to capture such a special moment on her wedding day. She looked incredible, and took every single one of their breaths away! Lizzy’s bridesmaids looked stunning in their deep maroon gown. I love how much dimension and mood their dresses brought to the photos, especially when combined with the navy grooms suits!
Lizzy and Nick blew me away with their ceremony space. Surrounded by massive sycamore trees and directly beneath a gigantic oak tree, Lizzy and Nick tied the knot. They nailed their decor, and it felt so rustic and romantic. These two were SUPER intentional with every detail, and found a way to weave in tons of personality in their decor. Since they opted out of a first look, I was dying to see Nick’s reaction when he saw his bride for the first time. It was such an beautiful and emotional moment, and I am so glad I was able to capture it!
After their romantic ceremony, Lizzy and Nick were eager to get the party started. They gathered up their friends, and cheered their drinks to an unforgettable night. I stole Lizzy and Nick away for some romantic photos before their reception, and their love was electric. These two are a match made in heaven, and they really do bring out the best in one another. They are naturals in front of the camera, and I just love shooting with them!
The Reception!
The Homestead features a massive, outdoor reception space that feels SO romantic. Lizzy and Nick kept to their romantic rustic decor, and it was perfection! Every single guest was just as ready to celebrate as the bride and groom. This group partied and danced ALL night long, and it was SO much fun! I cannot wait to capture more and more milestones along the way with these two. I hope you love these photos as much as we do!
